Ezra – History, Timing and Prophecy

In this sermon, Elder Cunningham introduces the study of the book of Ezra.  The primary purpose of this sermon is to lay groundwork for further study of this book.  Elder Cunningham addresses the history and timing of the book, including the Kings of Persia that are mentioned, the structure of the book of Ezra, and the general time periods dealt with in the book.  Also covered in this sermon are the prophecies that preceded the events told in Ezra.  These prophecies are found in Jeremiah 25, Jeremiah 29, and Isaiah 44.  The sermon can be accessed through your favorite podcast app or at the link below.
