In this sermon Elder Cunningham takes his subject from Ezra 1:4.  In this verse we find an answer to the prayers of Daniel, in Daniel 9, and a commandment from Cyrus the Great to those who did not join in the journey back to Jerusalem.  For those that remained behind, they were instructed to provide support for those on the journey.  From this we also take a practical application that there is a need for today’s believers to also be willing to sojourn in order that the kingdom of God might be strengthened.
