In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: 1 Corinthians 15: 33-58

Christ was raised from the dead. If not then your faith is futile. But he is the firstfruits. At the trumpet we will all be changed.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Proverbs 11-12

The LORD hates dishonest scales. The wicked earn false wages. Whoever gives water will get water. Whoever trusts in riches will fall.

No one finds security by wickedness. Those who work the land have food. Rash words pierce like a sword. Righteousness leads to life.
