In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Mark 11: 20-33

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. He drove the money-changers from the temple. The elders asked, “Who gave you this authority?”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Deuteronomy 3-4

The LORD delivered Og of Bashan to us. I gave Gilead to Reuben, Gad and Manasseh. The LORD said that I would not cross into the land.

Now, Israel, hear the commandments and obey them. You heard the LORD speak from the fire. Take care not to make idols. The LORD is God.
