In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Mark 11: 1-19

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. He drove the money-changers from the temple. The elders asked, “Who gave you this authority?”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Deuteronomy 1-2

The words of Moses: We journeyed from Horeb. You would not go up to take the land, so the LORD said, “This generation will not see it.”

We went into the wilderness. Thirty-eight years passed, then the LORD told us to cross by Moab. He delivered Sihon the Amorite to us.
