In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Mark 12: 1-27

Jesus said, “A man’s tenants killed his son.” The Pharisees questioned him about the law. He said, “Love God and love your neighbour.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Deuteronomy 5-7

The LORD made his covenant with us: Have no other gods; Keep the Sabbath; Honour your parents. You shall do all that he has commanded.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one. Love the LORD with all your heart, soul and strength. Teach your children these commandments.

Make no treaty with the nations of the land. You are a holy people, the LORD has chosen you. He will drive out the nations before you.
