In this second sermon in the series on discipling, Elder Cunningham explores the characteristics of God.  Starting in the 118th Psalm, Elder Cunningham considers how some of the characteristics of God are communicable and are given to the children of God in the new birth and how some characteristics of God are non-communicable.

One of those non-communicable characteristics of God is His immutability.  In both a good and bad sense, the child of God is always changing.  Romans 12:2 tells us to not be transformed to the things of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.  This is one of the many purposes of discipling.  That we might help others to be transformed by the things of God.
