Elder Cunningham resumes the study of the book of Ezra with this sermon preached on June 24, 2018.  In this sermon Elder Cunningham takes his text from Ezra 5:3-5, focusing in particular on the phrase, “who hath commanded you to build this house.”  In this sermon, he explains the historical answer that God had commanded them to build his house, but also goes to Hebrews 3 for a spiritual application.  From Hebrews 3, Elder Cunningham shows how the elect of God are the house of God and that Christ Jesus is the builder of that house.  This fact should bring the believer great comfort because our assurance is in Christ not in our own works.
