In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Philippians 3

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Isaiah 37-38

Hezekiah prayed to the LORD. Isaiah said, “The king of Assyria will not enter the city.” The angel of the LORD struck the Assyrians.

Hezekiah became sick, so he prayed. The LORD said, “I will add fifteen years to your life.” Hezekiah wrote, “The LORD will save me.”
