In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: John 12: 20-50

Jesus rode into Jerusalem. The crowd shouted, “Hosanna!” He said, “The Son of Man must be lifted up. I have come to save the world.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: 2 Chronicles 4-6

Solomon made an altar, the Sea, ten lavers, ten lampstands, ten tables and the courts for the temple. Huram made the furnishings.

The priests brought the ark into the Most Holy Place. The singers praised the LORD and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

Solomon said, “The LORD has kept his promise.” He prayed, “O LORD, if anyone prays toward this place then hear from heaven and act.”
