Morning Reading from the New Testament: Luke 15: 1-10

Jesus said, “Heaven rejoices when a sinner repents. A son squandered his father’s wealth. He returned and his father called a feast.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: 1 Samuel 17-18

A Philistine champion named Goliath challenged the Israelites. David killed Goliath with a sling and a stone. The Philistines fled.
