As the study of the book of Luke moves to verses 5 through 17, we will consider several connections between the story of Zacharias and Elisabeth and Old Testament individuals. In this sermon, we look at the similarities between the story of Hannah and her son Samuel and that of Elisabeth and John the Baptist. Both Samuel and John the Baptist would be dedicated to God from birth for a particular purpose.
