In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Colossians 2

Let no one deceive you. You were buried with Christ and also raised with him. Why do you follow rules that do not restrain the flesh?

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Isaiah 43-44

But I am with you, O Jacob. I am the LORD. There is no other saviour. Behold, I will do a new thing! Yet you have not called upon me.

I will pour my Spirit on your offspring. Who makes an idol? A carpenter prays to a block of wood. I am the LORD who made all things.
