In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: 1 Corinthians 2

I knew nothing among you except Christ crucified. We speak the wisdom of God. Through the Spirit we know what God has freely given.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Psalms 116-118

I love the LORD, for he heard my cry. When I was brought low, he saved me. What can I give for all his goodness? I will keep my vows.

Praise the LORD! For great is his love towards us.

Give thanks to the LORD; for his love endures forever! The nations surrounded me; I cut them off! The LORD has become my salvation.
