In our New Testament readings this week we are presented with the persecution and tribulation of the apostles and the early church.  These chapters should serve to teach us about enduring faithfully in difficult times, but also about the power of prayer, the need to assemble as a church, and the comfort in understanding the salvation that is in Jesus Christ.
