In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Romans 3

The Jews were given the oracles of God. But no one is justified by the law. All have sinned and are justified through faith in Jesus.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Psalms 68-69

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered! Kings and armies flee. Our God is a God who saves. Sing to him, O kingdoms of the earth!

Save me, O God! I endure scorn for your sake. Rescue me from the mire. My foes are all known to you. Let your salvation protect me!
