In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Acts 22

Paul said, “Jesus appeared to me and sent me to the Gentiles.” The crowd threw dust. Paul told the tribune, “I am a Roman citizen.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Psalms 34-35

O magnify the LORD with me! I sought him and he answered. Taste and see that the LORD is good. He is close to the brokenhearted.

O LORD, fight against those who fight against me! Then I will rejoice. They repay evil for good. Vindicate me in your righteousness!
