In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Acts 21: 1-14

Paul was warned not to go to Jerusalem. He said, “I am ready to die.” We went there and saw James. Paul was arrested in the temple.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Psalms 28-30

To you I cry, O LORD my rock. Repay the wicked according to their works! The LORD is my shield. He is the strength of his people.

Ascribe to the LORD glory! The voice of the LORD is over the waters. The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness. The LORD is king!

I will exalt you, O LORD, for you spared me from going down to the pit. I cried to you for mercy. You turned my mourning into dancing.
