In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Acts 17: 1-15

They taught in Thessalonica and Berea. In Athens Paul said, “I proclaim the God who gives life to all. He will judge the world.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Psalms 7-9

O LORD, save me from all who pursue me. Arise in judgement! God has prepared his weapons against the wicked. I will praise the LORD!

O LORD, how majestic is your name in all the earth! What is man that you care for him? Yet you have crowned him with glory and honour.

I will praise you, O LORD! You have rebuked the nations. The LORD will judge the world with justice. The needy will not be forgotten.
