In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Acts 13: 24-52

Paul and Barnabas proclaimed the word. Paul said, “God has sent a Saviour, Jesus, as he promised.” The Jews stirred up persecution.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Job 33-34

“Job, please listen to my words. God does speak, perhaps in a dream or through pain. He does this to deliver a person from the pit.”

“It is unthinkable that God would do wrong. Can one who hates justice govern? God shows no partiality. Job speaks like the wicked!”
