This week in our Old Testament readings we finish the writings of Nehemiah and move into one of two books of the bible focused on a woman of faith.  This week we read from the book of Esther.  A faithful woman, who in an incredible act of mercy for her people, put her on life in danger with the King.  In our New Testament readings we continue in the book of Acts, reading of the early days of the church and the work the apostles and disciples did in the face of tremendous persecution.  Both of our primary readings this week should be an encouragement to the child of God that we have a greater protection that any man can afford.
