This week’s Old Testament reading presents one of the most beautiful depictions of salvation in scripture.  In the book of Ruth we see pictures of Christ, his Bride, and the salvation given without merit or cause.  Enjoy your readings from the book of Ruth before you move on to further writings of Samuel in 1 Samuel.
