In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Mark 16

The women went to the tomb. A man in white said, “He has risen!” Jesus appeared to the disciples. He said, “Go and preach the gospel.”

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Deuteronomy 29-30

You have seen all that the LORD has done so keep this covenant. If you break it the land will be cursed and the LORD will uproot you.

When you return to the LORD he will have compassion; he will circumcise your heart. I have set before you life and death. Choose life.
