Our evening readings this week move us into the book of Deuteronomy.  Our morning readings continue in the book of Mark, moving bit by bit through the ministry of Christ and approach his death, burial and resurrection.  Each of these books tells the story of the journey of God’s people.  Likewise, they both portray the need for us to trust in God and follow his teachings.  Though the stories are different, look for ways as you read that the instruction for the children of God are the same.
