In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Mark 6: 1-32

He sent the twelve out to preach. Herod executed John the Baptist. Jesus fed 5,000 men. He came to the disciples walking on the sea.

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Numbers 14-15

The people grumbled so the LORD said that they would spend forty years in the wilderness. They went up to the land but were defeated.

There is one law for you and for strangers. Make an offering if you sin unintentionally. Anyone who sins defiantly shall be cut off.
