The Amarillo Primitive Baptist Church continues the study of the book of Psalms with the largely historical Psalm 59.  This Psalm was written by David on the occasion that Saul sent messengers to watch David’s home and kill him and David fled from those that watched.  The Psalm is a reflection of the events in 1st Samuel 19 and teaches three lessons; 1) God will be victorious; 2) God will have the vengeance not man; and 3) we should rely on those blessings we have for strength in trial.
