The Amarillo Primitive Baptist Church continues the study of the book of Psalms with the 50th Psalm this week.  This particular Psalm is written by Asaph and speaks of the heart that must be present for true religion.  In particular, the sermon covering this psalm focuses on the need to giving to be motivated by thanksgiving.  In looking at Psalm 50, Luke 11, and 2 Corinthians 8 we understand that true giving is about thanksgiving, calling to God in trouble, and giving God the praise.
