In the morning let us prepare for the new day with the words of the New Testament and in the evening let us reflect on how God moves in the lives of his people.

Morning Reading from the New Testament: Philippians 2

Evening Reading from the Old Testament: Isaiah 34-36

The LORD is enraged against the nations. His sword is filled with blood. He has a day of vengeance for Zion. Edom shall lie waste.

The desert shall rejoice and bloom. The eyes of the blind shall be opened. The ransomed of the LORD shall return to Zion with songs.

The king of Assyria came against Judah. His commander said, “Do not listen to Hezekiah. Have any of the gods delivered their lands?”
